Seth Meyers Mocks the Trump/Biden Feud: ‘This Whole Ordeal is Embarassing’

On Thursday night, Seth Meyers kicked off his “A Closer Look” segment by ridiculing the traded barbs between President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden.

The feud began when Biden slammed the president for his degrading remarks about women and that had they been in high school, he would have taken Trump “behind the gym and beat the hell out of him” and referred to him as a “fattest, ugliest SOB in the room.” Trump then responded on Twitter calling out “Crazy Joe Biden” and insisting he would “go down fast and hard” and “crying all the way down.”

“This is just what America needs.. the Thrilla in Vanilla,” Meyers reacted. “The last time I saw two old dudes going at it like that, my local Walmart was down to its last bottle of prune juice.”

The Late Night host called this whole ordeal “embarrassing” not just because it “degrades our political discourse,” it also because it would “never happen.”

“Could you imagine these two actually fighting?” Meyers asked. “It would end as soon as one of them accidentally stepped on his super long testicles.”

Meyers then singled out the former Vice President.

“Shame on Joe Biden! You don’t have to say you want to fight Donald Trump because we all know you want to fight Donald Trump,” Meyers continued. “When it comes time for someone to fight Donald Trump, I’m sorry, but we’re just not going to pick you. We’re gonna pick Ronda Rousey.”
