Shep Smith Is Stunned That Rep. Weiner Couldn’t Recognize His ‘Certain Thing’
Shep Smith certainly has a gift at cutting to the heart of matters. After stumbling over Rep. Anthony Weiner’s statement to MSNBC’s Luke Russert (he used Thesaurus.com to make sure “certitude” meant what he thought it did), Smith wondered aloud how anyone could be confused about whether a penis belonged to them or not.
Here’s Smith’s delicate phrasing:
“I guess you could see something of this nature that belongs on your person or doesn’t and not have any ‘certitude’ about whether it is yours, but, when you’ve lived with certain things all your life, you’d think eventually you’d probably know what’s yours.”
Man, this is quickly turning into a 21st century version of Bill Clinton’s cigar for the enjoyment we’re getting out of listening to news anchors trying to explain the damn thing.
