Ted Cruz Slams Stormy Daniels Testimony: ‘No Person on Planet Earth’ Believes Trump ‘Has Been Celibate All His Life’

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) tore into Stormy Daniels’ testimony about her alleged tryst with former President Donald Trump on Wednesday, claiming “no person on planet Earth” believes Trump “has been celibate all his life.”

During an appearance on Fox News’ Hannity, Cruz claimed:

The testimony of Stormy Daniels was salacious. That was the point of it. Listen, there is no person on planet Earth that believes Donald Trump has been celibate all his life. That is not news. But they want to drag him through the gutter because this is a political smear job. It’s not about the rule of law and it’s frankly– it’s tragic what is happening because the rule of law is important. It protects all of us. This is what banana republics do.

The senator concluded, “And let me ask you, Sean, is there one Democrat nationally with the courage to speak out against it? I’m in the Senate. I do not know a single Democrat senator who says enough is enough.”

In her testimony this week, Daniels claimed she “blacked out” after discovering Trump “minus a lot of clothing” lying on her bed during their alleged tryst.

“There was a bodyguard right outside the door. There was an imbalance of power for sure,” she said. “He was bigger and blocking the way. But, I mean, I was not threatened verbally or physically.”

While Trump has denied the claims, Fox News host Greg Gutfeld praised the former president as “a sex god” on The Five, Wednesday.

“Now, it could be that she really blacked out after having sex with Trump, which is a compliment,” said Gutfeld. “Truly, he screwed the brains out of her – that makes him a sex god.”
