The View’s Joy Behar Claims Trump, Men Don’t Like Kamala Because They ‘Fear’ a ‘Funny Woman’ — Especially in Bed

The View’s Joy Behar lashed out at Donald Trump and other critics of Vice President Kamala Harris, claiming their issues with her boil down to male insecurities.

On Wednesday’s The View, the hosts compared recent footage of both Trump and President Joe Biden at events amid calls for Biden to exit the race and be replaced at the top of the ticket. At a rally, Trump referred to Harris as “laughing Kamala,” but he made sure the crowd knew he was spelling it as “laffin'” Kamala.

Behar claimed mocking Harris’s laugh is completely sexist and that men have a problem with “funny” women.

“What really ticks me off about him though is this laughing Kamala remark. It’s such a sexist remark because a guy I was with over the weekend, a friend of mine, said, ‘Kamala’s laugh annoys me.’ Remember they said that about Hillary [Clinton]’s laugh, that she was cackling. And men, you know, they don’t like a funny woman,” Behar said. “They’re afraid if you laugh or you make a joke that maybe you’ll do that when they’re in bed with you. It’s like this fear, this fear of women laughing and comedy.”

“That’s very good psychotherapy,” Sunny Hostin responded.

“And what was that reference to the Washington Monument? It looks very much like a penis to me,” Behar said.

“You’re on fire today,” Alyssa Farah Griffin said.

During the same speech, Trump called the Washington Monument a “beautiful scene,” but suggested crime in the city is so rampant that you’ll get “shot, mugged, raped” visiting it.

Hostin suggested Trump targeted Harris because he “fears” her jumping to the top of the ticket.

“You smell fear when he comes up with a name for somebody,” Behar said.
