Whoa: Dan Abrams And Nancy Grace Have Explosive Argument Over Casey Anthony Case
Today on Good Morning America, ABC legal analyst and Mediaite founder Dan Abrams and HLN host Nancy Grace got into a heated argument over the defense’s strategy in the ongoing Casey Anthony trial. And, hoo boy, did they have it out.
Abrams suggested that the defense should “shift gears” away from laying blame on Anthony’s father, George Anthony.
Grace was just not hearing it:
You guys are talking about this like you’re out driving your Porsche along Park Avenue and you’re just going to shift gears and go into second gear. It’s not like that.
Abrams laughed and replied, “Tell me how it works, Nancy. I’ve been waiting to learn how it works.”
Grace, upset, reminded everyone that she’s tried a fair share of murder trials in her day and that it “doesn’t work like that.” She even busted out the air quotes. Also… something about cabbage and onions?
At one point, Abrams responded to Grace’s argument by pointing out that she was refuting statements that neither he nor host George Stephanopoulos made.
Later in the segment, a possibly shell shocked Stephanopoulos quipped that he’s “still trying to figure out how to get in my Porsche on Park Avenue.”
