‘You Are Genocide Supporters!’ Irate Palestinian Protester Shouts ‘F*ck CNN’ at Sara Sidner During Tense Confrontation in West Bank

CNN’s Sara Sidner was whisked away by security after being confronted by an irate Palestinian protester in the the West Bank on Friday.

Sidner was describing the scene in the city of Ramallah when a chanting crowd gathered around her and one man approached her, swiped her arm away, and screamed in her face.

“You are genocide supporters! You are not welcome here!” he shouted at Sidner. “Genocide supporters! Fuck CNN! Fuck CNN! Fuck CNN! Genocide supporters! Fuck CNN!”

At that point, Sidner’s security detail intervened to remove her from the situation.

“Alright, you see that people are very angry. They do not like that CNN has been reporting this story. You hear that,” Sidner told the camera just seconds after the tense confrontation. “We’re fine.”

She continued:

But what you are seeing is the heightened fear, anger, frustration with what’s happening in general [INAUDIBLE]. There is a general anger people feel that Israel is getting more support than the Palestinians and the Palestinians feel they’re getting  bombed and losing a lot of life.

Israel has been launching targeted strikes in the Gaza Strip in the days since Hamas’ brutal terrorist attack targeting Israeli civilians on October 7. Over 1,400 people were killed in the attack and around 200 hostages were dragged back to Gaza. Forensic experts have discovered signs of rape and torture on the bodies of dead victims.

Hamas claims that over 4,000 people have been killed in Gaza as Israel carries out operations that it says are intended to wipe out Hamas. International anger was stirred up on Tuesday when much of Western media parroted Hamas’ claims that an Israeli airstrike on a hospital had killed hundreds of people.

U.S. and Israeli intelligence assessments reported that the explosion in the hospital parking lot was caused by a rocket mishandled by Palestinian terrorists who had intended for it to land in Israel.
