WATCH: HS Graduate’s Celebratory Backflip Goes Horribly Wrong as He Dropkicks Fellow Student in the Face

It’s graduation season, which means that at various high schools and colleges around the country over the next few weeks, you’ll likely hear a commencement speaker or a faculty member encourage students to fly high. But that message probably shouldn’t be taken literally — as one unfortunate ceremony showed.

In footage which has gone viral, Sunday’s graduation ceremony for South Plantation High School in Florida took a bad turn when one student got a little too excited about his achievement. The student launched into a celebratory backflip, after he was called on stage.

But the student behind him was walking a little too close, and ended up getting kicked in the face.

The graduate who was kicked immediately fell to the deck. But thankfully, additional footage from the incident showed her promptly getting to her feet seemingly uninjured.
