CNN Airs Video of People Fleeing Shootings That Have Left at Least 18 Dead in Maine

At least 18 people have been killed in multiple shootings in Lewiston, Maine, according to NBC News. Officials said the shootings occurred at a restaurant and a bowling alley.

The unknown suspect remains at large and authorities have told residents to shelter in place. Police have identified 40-year-old Robert Card as a person of interest.

CNN aired footage of people fleeing the bowling alley away from the shooter.

“This is video that we have just obtained,” CNN’s Kaitlan Collins told viewers. “You can see people running. They are running from the bowling alley that we believe is the site of one of these shootings here in Maine that we are covering at this moment, this breaking news coming in. This is video of people sprinting from the bowling alley.”
