WATCH: CNN’s Stunning Report of Gaza-Based Journalist Evading Israeli Missile Strikes With His Family

“I don’t have anywhere else to go.”

Those are the haunting words from CNN journalist Ibrahim Dahman, who lives in Gaza and delivered a first-person account of what life is like right now there. The three-minute segment shows Dahman and his family’s evacuation from Gaza City to the southern city of Khan Younis.

He and his family drive around the war-ravaged Gaza Strip while rockets rain down around them, all the while trying to calm children terrified by the uncertainty of what might await them.

They seek shelter in a hotel, though Dahman admits in his native language, “I know deep down no building is safe.” His son seeks consultation by stating, “They don’t strike hotels, right?” which is less of a question and more of an admission of wavering faith that they will be safe.

The video report is a stunning bit of journalism that details how difficult it is for civilians living in Gaza under attack from Israeli forces seeking to take out the Hamas terrorists who killed over a thousand innocent Israeli civilians — including babies — and took well over 100 more hostages.
