Kamala Harris Taunts Trump For Backing Out Of Debates
Vice President and presumptive Democratic nominee for President Kamala Harris taunted former President Donald Trump after his campaign backed out of agreed-to debates citing “chaos” in the nominating process.
Presidential debates have been key in this campaign, to say the least. After President Joe Biden’s debate performance touched off calls for him to drop out, the president announced he would no longer be seeking a second term — and minutes later threw his support behind his veep.

The crack is a reference to a claim Trump made at rallies like his April speech in Wisconsin:
I am calling on Crooked Joe to debate ANY TIME, ANY PLACE… so that we can discuss, in a friendly manner, the real problems of our country, of which there are many, instead of trying to have corrupt prosecutors fight your battles for you.
At least one obstacle was removed Thursday morning when former President Barack Obama endorsed the VP.
