‘They’ve Called Trump HITLER 13 Times Over The Weekend!’ Fox Hosts Outraged After Trump ‘Vermin’ Remarks — At Media
Fox News hosts Laura Ingraham and Brian Kilmeade were outraged at the media after former President Donald Trump made comments about “vermin” that are being widely compared to the language of Adolf Hitler.
This passage in Trump’s Veterans Day speech in New Hampshire is being widely pilloried as echoing the likes of Hitler and Benito Mussolini:
We will root out the communists, Marxists, fascists, and the radical-left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country. The threat from outside forces is far less sinister, dangerous, and grave than the threat from within.
But on Fox News shows, the outrage has been directed at the media. On Tuesday morning’s edition of Fox & Friends, Kilmeade bitterly complained to his co-hosts that “They’ve called Trump Hitler 13 times over the weekend!”
And on Monday night’s edition of Fox News Channel’s The Ingraham Angle, Ingraham even put together a little clip package, then slammed the media for criticizing Trump amid a rise in anti-Semitism over the Israel-Hamas war:
BRIAN KILMEADE: Guess what they’ve already done? They’ve called Trump Hitler 13 times over the weekend! Hillary Clinton kicked it off on The View. So how much? After a while, people stop hearing it, they become numb to it. They’re trying to rip Trump down because they believe he’s going to be the nominee to root out the communist, Marxist, fascist and the radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country.
LAURA INGRAHAM: Now that one comment by Trump over the weekend sent the media into complete meltdown.
MEHDI HASAN: This isn’t the first time Trump has been caught echoing the rhetoric of Nazis and white supremacists.
NICOLLE WALLACE: An ignorant person when warned that Hitler used to call which the government would stop, would stop from turning up the volume.
JOE SCARBOROUGH: And now we’re going we’re just going full on Hitler, talking about talking about vermin.
LAURA INGRAHAM: Now, according to Grabien media, CNN and MSNBC have likened Trump to Hitler only 12 times so far today.
Oddly, they haven’t labeled the anti-Semitic loons on college campuses with that same pejorative.
Joining me now, Tulsi Gabbard, former Democrat, Hawaii congresswoman and Fox News contributor. Tulsi, there are actually signs, pro-Hamas signs, anti-Semitic signage and chants. If these college campuses and cities and nothing. Oh, yeah, that’s fine. But Trump, he’s he’s Hitler now.
The actual count is over two-dozen mentions of “Trump” and “Hitler” on CNN and MSNBC.
