Asked About ‘Aging Toward a Very Senior Life,’ Obama Jokes: ‘C’mon, You Hurt My Feelings!’
At the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative in Malaysia today, President Barack Obama was confronted by a student who asked his perspective on “aging towards a very senior life.”
“That’s pretty low!” Obama said, as the audience erupted in laughter.
The student apologized before asking Obama what he hopes to see from young people when he gets older. As the audience laughed again, the student said “I think you get my question, right?”

“I got your question. Sit down!” Obama joked, insisting that the first thing he wants from young people is to stop calling him old. “C’mon, you hurt my feelings!” he said.
Obama noted “we all get old, it’s true” adding when he first came into office he “had no grey hair.”
“Although I will tell you I don’t dye my hair, and a lot of my fellow leaders do,” Obama quipped.
