Batman v Superman Director Calls into Radio Show to Defend… Aquaman
Let’s face it: Aquaman is kind of a lame superhero (though if Khal Drogo really is portraying him, that may change). But something interesting happened on the radio today: Zack Snyder, the director of the upcoming Batman v Superman, called into a radio show to defend Aquaman’s honor.
See, on the Stoney & Bill Detroit radio show, the two hosts did a segment laughing at the DC superhero. And then, later on in the show, they were called by none other than Snyder himself.
Aquaman, of course, is rumored to be in the sequel to Man of Steel, leading up to the inevitable Justice League movie, but Snyder wouldn’t confirm either way. What he did say was that Aquaman, contrary to popular belief, “has some cool abilities.”
He touted Aquaman’s super-strength, as well as his trident’s ability to “cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact.” He did clarify, “Not to say he’s in my movie or anything like that.”
