JUST IN: Megyn Kelly’s Show Cancelled By NBC

Megyn Kelly Today is ending.

Days after Megyn Kelly set off massive controversy by defending blackface Halloween costumes, NBC News has confirmed that her morning show will not be returning.

In a statement obtained by Mediaite, an NBC spokesperson said, “Megyn Kelly Today is not returning. Next week, the 9am hour will be hosted by other TODAY co-anchors.”

Mediaite has also received a statement from Kelly’s attorney saying, “Megyn remains an employee of NBC News and discussions about next steps are continuing.”

Kelly apologized to colleagues and on-air for her remarks, but not only has there been serious outrage at her comments, but there’s been a noticeable amount of critical coverage from her own colleagues this week.
