Conservative porn star Brandi Love was looking forward to the Turning Point USA conference in Tampa, Florida this weekend, purchasing a VIP ticket and posting updates on her Twitter account. Her joy was short-lived, however, as conference organizers revoked her admission after backlash about someone in the porn industry attending a conference targeted to students.

Love has been an outspoken conservative for years, contributing articles at The Federalist and sharing her political views on Twitter, including several posts from the first day of the TPUSA event.

Before Love could attend a second day, conference organizers sent her an email revoking her ticket. Love tweeted a screenshot of the email, commenting that she had just seen TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, Dan Bongino, Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), and Kat Timpf “speak about freedom, censorship, how inclusive the ‘movement’ is” but “then they had me thrown out” of the conference…The Republican Party is broken.”

“We regret to inform you that your [conference invitation] has been revoked,” the email said, adding that the price of her ticket would be refunded. “This decision is final.”

Salon’s Zachary Petrizzo (formerly a Mediaite contributor) reported that objections to Love’s attendance were raised by white nationalist “groypers,” a group that has been battling TPUSA for about two years, attempting to push the organization’s agenda further right and infiltrate their events.

“The Student Action Summit is a youth conference with 15- and 16-year-olds in attendance,” said TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet in a statement to Newsweek. “As a matter of policy, TPUSA does not allow adult entertainers, influencers, or brands to participate in its events designed for minors. This was not a decision intended to be unkind to anyone, but in the interest of the student attendees in attendance, and their thousands of concerned parents.”

“Don’t be a bunch of prudes,” Federalist co-founder Ben Domenech tweeted in Love’s defense, calling her “a Florida conservative businesswoman who loves America” and scolding TPUSA for missing an “opportunity to be the big tent party.”

Love told The Daily Caller that getting kicked out of the TPUSA conference was “one of the more egregious examples” of cancel culture. “Charlie Kirk literally talked about making sacrifices as outspoken ‘conservatives.’ Something I’ve been for years at great risk and great loss. And then they expelled me. It’s hard to make that up.”

“If TPUSA is the future, then the future is run by puritanical, fanatically devout Christians who will demand compliance or else,” she added. “That’s a recipe for a shrinking party.”

Love decided to capitalize on the attention, creating a t-shirt that said “I triggered Charlie Kirk,” and offering it for sale on her website.

Last December, TPUSA was heavily criticized by conservatives when they had “Bang Girls,” representatives of event sponsor Bang Energy drinks, blast free cash into the crowd.
