‘Despicable!’ Hillary Clinton Blasted Over Bizarre Proposal For ‘Formal Deprogramming’ Of Trump Supporters
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton faced backlash online after she called for the “formal deprogramming” Donald Trump’s supporters.
During an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour released on Thursday, Clinton called for a “formal deprogramming of the cult members” who support former president.
“So many of those extremists, those MAGA extremists, take their marching orders from Donald Trump, who has no credibility left by any measure,” Clinton said. “He’s now defending himself in civil actions and criminal actions, and when do they break with him? You know, because at some point, you know, maybe there needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members.”
Outrage over Clinton’s comments from Republican presidential candidates, pundits, and even critics from the left quickly spread online. Fox News pundit Tomi Lahren claimed the former 2016 Democratic nominee is still bitter about her loss to Trump.
