Duke’s Grayson Allen, Who’s Tripped Opponents on Multiple Occasions, Shoves an Opposing Coach
Throughout the college basketball season, we’ve chronicled the dirty play of Duke’s Grayson Allen. Some of his offenses have been questionable, others much more flagrant. This one falls in the former category, but as more of these plays happen, Allen is less and less likely to get the benefit of the doubt from fans.
The latest Allen incident came during Tuesday night’s game against Florida State. Allen was diving for a ball near the Florida State bench. After knocking the ball back in play, Allen fell into the bench. Florida State assistant coach Dennis Gates tried to break Allen’s fall. And as he did, Allen shoved him with both hands.
No Florida State player or coach is reported to have taken umbrage with the incident. No one realized it happened right away. But the video shows a definite shove.
Was it intentional? Watch above, via ESPN.
