‘Fake Mitt Romney’ Endorses Ron Paul In Super PAC Ad

Endorse Liberty, a super PAC offering support for Ron Paul, has brought us a vaguely terrifying specimen by name of “Fake Mitt Romney.”

“Attention Iowa caucus voters. I am Fake Mitt Romney,” he tells viewers under his impressive if immobile helmet of hair, “which makes me remarkably like the real Mitt Romney. I took a break from, uh, picking up a check at Goldman Sachs to speak to you, America.” Fake Mitt Romney would rather you not watch the video below because, he says, doing so will very likely get you to vote for Ron Paul.

“He has been right for decades,” the video’s narrator says of Paul, touting his prediction of our nation’s current economic woes as well as his resolve to bring our troops home. The video includes various testimonials from (mostly quite young) veterans voicing their support for Paul, as well as from other voters who chose to highlight, for example, his ability to appeal to a range of people regardless of their race or socio-economic background.

“Look, a lot of people have labeled me a flip-flopper,” concludes Fake Mitt Romney. “Maybe I am, maybe I’m not, but after watching that video, one thing is for sure; I am endorsing Ron Paul for President.”
