Fox News’ Bob Beckel apologized on Twitter after he referred to Congressman Jason Chaffetz as a “punk” on The Five today.
The show segment was focused on liberal outrage hypocrisy in all the uproar over Ben Carson‘s slavery remarks and Chaffetz’s iPhone remarks, while similar comments made by Barack Obama when he was president were mostly unremarked on.
During the discussion, Beckel called Chaffetz a “punk.”
A little over an hour after the show ended today, Beckel posted this apology to Twitter:
Went overboard on The Five today and called a Republican congressman a punk. It was not necessary and I regret it.
