Giants Fans Burn City in Offering to New God Madison Bumgarner

 

After pitcher Madison Bumgarner became the first individual to win the World Series Wednesday, San Francisco Giants fans torched couches and even a Muni bus in an offering to their new god.

Upon the arrival of riot cops revelers threw bottles and shouted threats at the officers. According to officials two people were shot during the celebratioriot, though the wounds were not considered serious. Authorities have not released an arrest tally.

Overall the celebratioriot appears to be of about the same intensity as the 2012 version.

It was unclear whether Augustus Bumgarner was pleased with these supplications.
