Glenn Beck And Bill O’Reilly Debate Muslim Holiday in Cambridge Mass.

Glenn Beck did his weekly spot on Bill O’Reilly from LA, Friday. “I hear you went out there to get a face lift, is that right?” asked O’Reilly. After some chit chat about Beck’s health (the serious stuff was ruled out) O’Reilly put to him the big question: Cambridge Mass. has approved a Muslim school holiday for all its students beginning next year. What does Beck think of that?

It will probably not come as a surprise to regular Beck watchers that Beck thinks if that’s what the Cambridge people want that’s what they should have. He went on to note that a school district in Dearborn Michigan (which has a large Muslim population) had voted to allow football practice at 2am during Ramadan, and argued that many times these decision make sense, but regardless it was ultimately up to the locals to determine for themselves.

O’Reilly, was slightly more skeptical, pointing out there were a lot of liberals in Cambridge, and “does this mean are we going to give Hindus a holiday, are we going to do the Wiccan thing?” Because apparently O’Reilly thinks it’s perfectly reasonable to compare Wiccans to Muslims.
