Go Behind The Scenes Of Puppy Bowl IX

For the ninth year in a row, Animal Planet will be holding its Puppy Bowl on Super Bowl Sunday, providing a cute and cuddly alternative to the main event.

As official referee Dan Schachner recently explained, a big part of his job is dealing with “physical fouls” such as “illegal wetting of the field” or “preliminary fertilization of the grass.”

And just like the Super Bowl, which this is seeing the Harbaugh brothers face off in a coaching battle, the Puppy Bowl as a pair of brothers from a shepherd-pit bull litter competing against each other.
