‘He Can’t Handle Losing Very Well’: Cruz Responds to Trump’s P*ssy Insult
During his primary campaigning today in New Hampshire, Ted Cruz was asked to respond to Donald Trump‘s very indirect way of calling him a “pussy.”
Speaking with CNN, Cruz mostly shrugged things off by saying that based on Trump’s previous behavior, it hardly surprises him when Trump verbally assaults his competition. “Donald doesn’t handle losing very well, and his typical response is to engage in insults, and usually the insults are pretty crude and profane,” Cruz said.

While he said that Trump is quite allowed to keep insulting him, Cruz hammered on about how this was the mogul’s default response, and impressed that he would not respond in kind with political mudslinging. Buzzfeed reported that he also said Trump loves “go[ing] down the road of insults” because he can’t engage on the substance.
Trump downplayed the insult during an interview today with Fox & Friends, saying it was “like a retweet,” and that he would “never say a word like that,” even though he only appeared to be joking when he “reprimanded” the person who said it.
