‘He Really Oversold That Wall’: Twitter Mercilessly Rips Trump for Speaking In Front of Garbage
For Donald Trump‘s harshest critics, today’s economics speech might be his campaign in a nutshell.
The mogul gave a speech today in Pennsylvania, where he attacked Hillary Clinton, applauded Brexit, and generally talked about the negatives of globalized economics. Unfortunately for him, the Internet couldn’t stop laughing at the fact that of all the places in the world to speak, Trump chose to talk in front of a wall of crushed garbage.
In all fairness, Tim Mak of The Daily Beast pointed out that the location was fitting in a way, given his location.
He is speaking at Alumisource, and I imagine that's aluminum packed for recylcing https://t.co/Di3LJSqOv8

Even so, the jokes wrote themselves, and they came without mercy:

Tuned in to catch Trump's "Economic Independence" speech & am mesmerized by his candy striped tie and the shiny, compacted garbage backdrop?
