Here’s What We Know About the People on Board Missing EgyptAir Flight MS804

Information is coming in this morning regarding the passenger manifest from EgyptAir Flight MS804 that reportedly vanished ten miles after entering Egyptian air space. While French President Francois Hollande has said in a news conference that the plane crashed and search and rescue operations are underway in the Mediterranean Sea, no confirmation has yet been made.

66 people were on board the plane, which was flying from Paris to Cairo. According to NBC News, 30 of the plane’s passengers were Egyptian, 15 were French, and 2 were Iraqi. There were also citizens of countries such as Belgium, Portugal, and Canada on board as well. There were no Americans on board that have been reported.

56 people on board were passengers and 7 were part of the plane’s crew. There were also 3 additional security personnel as well.

According to the Greek Defense Minister, the plane — an A320 aircraft made in 2003 — made “sudden swerves” before disappearing from radar. The pilot and co-pilot flying the EgyptAir plane were both very experienced, with nearly 10,000 flying hours combined.

This is a developing story and we will update with more information accordingly.
