Hillary Promises to ‘Run Off on Da Plug Twice’ and Accidentally Says She Needs Some Marijuana

Former Secretary of State and current Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton is often tagged with the criticism that she’s inauthentic, but in an interview with Power 101.5’s The Breakfast Club Monday, she kept it very real. Besides confessing to a long established concealed-carry hot sauce habit that still somehow got her criticized for “pandering,” Hillary embraced her unhip realness in a couple of other funny moments during the interview, both drug-related.

First, the hosts asked Hillary if she had ever tried to “Run Off On Da Plug Twice,” and rather than try to feign knowledge of the dance trend, she gamely promised to give it a try in private:

The dance, a popular end-zone dance, is, essentially, running in place, and refers to rapper Plies’ boast, in song, that he took off on his drug dealer without paying, then did it again. At some point, one would expect da plug to hit da gym.

Later in the show, Hillary had another coughing fit, and one of the hosts joked that she was “coughing like you got some medicinal,” a reference to medicinal marijuana. Clearly missing the reference, Hillary replied “I need some.”

There’s no way to know for sure, but I’d like to think if Hillary did get some medicinal, she would inhale.
