Lin-Manuel Miranda is Narrating an Episode of Drunk History, But Who’s Playing Hamilton?

Screen Shot 2016-08-12 at 4.40.29 PMHamilton was the Broadway musical sensation of a lifetime. Well, it still is, but its creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda, left for other opportunities last month.

It looks like one of those opportunities was narrating an episode of Drunk History, the show where a person gets sloshed and then tries to retell a famous historical story. Naturally, the producers want Miranda to narrate the story of Alexander Hamilton, but who will play him?

According to Entertainment Weekly, the answer is Alia Shawkat. As for nemesis Aaron Burr, viewers can expect to see none other than Aubrey Plaza!

One of the reasons Miranda’s Hamilton was so successful was that he put some major spins on the tale of two white dudes duking it out. Actors of colors were given the roles and everyone rapped. With two women in the drunken Hamilton story, it looks like Miranda is continuing his unique casting process.

When this episode airs on November 29, you’ll know where to find it! (Comedy Central, yes, but here, too!)
