Malaysian Gov’t Officially Declares MH370 Disappearance an Accident

Remember last year when cable news was transfixed by the search for the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370? Well, the government of Malaysia has officially declared the disappearance of the plane to be an accident.

The search for the missing plane is still continuing, but this is the official word on the matter for now.

According to CNN, civil aviation director Azharuddin Abdul Rahman read a formal declaration saying the plane disappearance was an accident and all of the crew members and passengers are presumed dead. The plane went missing last March and despite lots and lots of searching around the Indian Ocean, where the plane went missing, no one has been able to locate it yet.

You may recall some of the more, erm, out-there theories about what happened to MH370…
