‘New York Drivers Suck’: Check Out David Ortiz Riding Around Boston as an Undercover Lyft Driver

Red Sox slugger David Ortiz is concluding his prolific baseball career this season, and is getting ready for one last playoff run with the Sox — who could clinch the AL East title with a win Wednesday night.

But before Big Papi rides off into the sunset, here he is riding the streets of Boston…as a Lyft driver.

As part of the rideshare company’s “Undercover Lyft” series, Ortiz went incognito — using sunglasses and a wig to conceal his identity from apparently unsuspecting passengers.

A significant chunk of the sketch is Ortiz basically just taking shots at New York, while making small talk with his passengers.

I don’t like New York…Man, New York drivers suck…Big part of my career is being successful in New York…When they come to Boston, man, they look like they’re lost in space.
