The headline was discovered by Colorado State University journalism advisor Neill Woelk, who identified the paper as the East Oregonian. Woelk immediately fielded (#nailedit) questions abut whether the photo was a fake, and provided a PDF as proof:

In the interest of accuracy, Mediaite will note that nobody has yet proven Oakland A’s switch-pitcher Pat Venditte can’t pitch underwater.
