Police Release Body Cam Images From Pulse Nightclub Attack

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office this week released body cam images from the evening of the Pulse Nightclub massacre in June.

The footage shows a chaotic scene of authorities rushing people to safety outside the nightclub where 49 people were murdered.

The gunman was an American native, Omar Mateen, who pledged allegiance to ISIS and displayed a history of unhinged behavior and virulent homophobia. He died in a firefight with the police. In addition to the 49 deaths, he injured 53 others.
