Ricky Martin Engaged to Boyfriend Jwan Yosef

Ricky Martin appeared on Ellen Wednesday, where he revealed to host Ellen Degeneres that he’s engaged to Jwan Yosef, who he’s been dating for over a year. He told Ellen that they met because Martin was a fan of Yosef’s work. “He’s a conceptional artist and I’m a collector so I started looking for art and I saw his art and I went crazy because I really love what he does- really original. And I contacted him.”

“And then you collected him,” Ellen joked.

Martin continued, “I had no idea what he looked like, and then I saw what he looked like and I’m like, yeah.”

Then, he revealed that the two just became engaged. “I proposed,” he said. “I was really nervous… Instead of saying ‘Would you marry me?’ I said ‘I got you something!’ And then he was like, ‘Yes?’ I said, ‘I want to spend my life with you,’ and he was like, ‘What is the question?’ ‘Would you marry me?'” Of course, Yosef said yes.
