Rory2010 Campaign Doesn’t Want You To Know He’s Harry Reid’s Son

Based solely on his Nevada gubernatorial campaign, it’d be hard to identify Rory Reid as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid‘s son. But that seems to be the point: the Rory2010 campaign fails to mention the candidate’s last name.

The candidate’s first campaign ad about education reform refers to him by first name. Reid (or should we call him Rory?) seems to be erasing any ties to his father, exemplifying Nevada’s rough relationship with Harry Reid. Better yet, Rory’s campaign website is simply Rory2010.com. On the website, even his bio begins with “Rory, 47, grew up in Nevada…”

Despite these attempts, polls show him trailing way behind his GOP opponent Brian Sandoval.
