Top 10 Most Obnoxious Reactions To President Obama’s Election Victory

Politics is ugly. And election night is often uglier.

Partisans divide into Team Red and Team Blue, root endlessly for their guy, and lob ad hominem attacks for months on end — all culminating in an adrenaline-fueled night of number-crunching, state-winning, and confetti-dropping.

And then after those results come in, and for a few moments we are free of partisan bickering (not really) because the horserace is finally over, the partisan bickering begins again.

In 2012’s case, it was Republicans who began running for the hills the minute Obama won Ohio — conservative commentators decried the onward march towards socialism, the ascendency of minorities who want “free stuff,” and the very death of America as we know it.

And, on the other end, gloating Democrats grabbed a stool, parked themselves right at the bar and got absolutely wasted on Republican tears.

But let’s face it. Both reactions were pretty obnoxious. And so… you want a list, you say?
