Trump Claims His Wiretapping Accusation ‘Is Turning Out to be True’

In an interview with Financial Times, President Donald Trump reaffirmed his belief that he had been “wiretapped” by his predecessor Barack Obama.

The interview, with Lionel Barber, Gillian Tett, and Demetri Sevastopulo, saw POTUS saying:

My last tweet, you know the one that you are talking about perhaps, was the one about being in quotes, wiretapped, meaning surveilled. Guess what, it is turning out to be true.

He is, of course, speaking about THAT infamous tweet from a few Saturdays ago. President Trump is seemingly alluding to the recent development of House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes revealing that Trump and his associates may have been incidentally caught under surveillance.
