“I support solutions and law and order,” she told Cameron. “Black Lives Matter is counterproductive. The stark increase in officer executions since their formation is evident.”

Trump has been very critical of Black Lives Matter, accusing it of dividing the nation, and has positioned one of the cornerstones of his campaign — “law and order” — as a rebuke to BLM. Pierson echoed Trump’s claim that police officers are more unsafe now thanks to the activist movement — despite a report in the Washington Post that law enforcement officer deaths have been lower during the Obama presidency.
Pierson supported Obama in 2008 before she became a Tea Party activist. She once told Wolf Blitzer that cables news networks were far more lenient covering Black Lives Matter than the Tea Party.
