Twitter Loses Its Mind over Trump Jr.’s Russian Email Release: ‘Time to Touch the Orb Again’
Once again, the Twitterverse is ablaze after Donald Trump Jr. released an email chain confirming he was contacted for a meeting with a lawyer who would supposedly offer damaging information about Hillary Clinton from the Russian government.
The emails detail a correspondence with Rob Goldstone, which shows how Trump Jr. was offered highly-sensitive information as “part of Russia and it’s government’s support for Mr. Trump.” While the meeting allegedly did not yield any damaging information about Clinton, the circumstances have invited new questions about Russian interference with the election, and whether the Trump campaign was willing to go along with it.
As such, people on Twitter are besides themselves as they take in the news:
The email shows: They knew. All along, they knew. They knew Russia preferred Trump. They knew Russia offered to help. All along, they knew.

If someone tells u that a foreign govt has sensitive info re: one of our former top officials, only acceptable response is concern for US

“…and the Democrats did it too.” Both may be true, but collapse of adamantly-repeated “no collusion” assertion would be devastating. https://t.co/oAqpWax0u9

So much for the “Jared-and-Paul-went-into-the-meeting-blind” excuse. They had all the details at their fingertips. https://t.co/ShnsyOEx04
