Two Russell Simmons Accusers Open Up to Megyn Kelly: ‘I Can’t Believe This Man Just Violated Me’
Two Russell Simmons accusers spoke out for the first time on television Tuesday morning — detailing their claims of sexual misconduct against the hip-hop mogul.
In an exclusive on Megyn Kelly Today, Sherri Hines and Natashia Williams-Blach — both of whom first told their stories to the L.A. Times on Dec. 13 — opened up to host Megyn Kelly about what they say happened with Simmons.
Williams-Blach alleges that her incident with Simmons occurred in 1997, when she was 18. She claims it happened in his house following a yoga session.
“Things quickly escalated to him coming into my space and putting his hands on my head, pulling it in,” Williams-Blach said. “And I didn’t have time to think after that. And I just reacted inside and realized, ‘Oh, this is different.’ This is not — we’re not just watching trailers for a movie.”
Williams-Blach went on to claim that Simmons tried to force her to perform oral sex on him. But she was able to leave the mogul’s house.
The alleged incident with Hines occurred in 1983. Hines claims that Simmons brought her to his office, pinned her down, and raped her.
“It happened so fast. The next thing I know, my pants were down and he was having his way,” she said. She added, “And then when he finished, I ran out of there, and I left, and I was crying. And I stood at the elevator — looked like forever. I couldn’t believe I was just violated like that. And more so I felt embarrassed. I felt used, worthless.”
Simmons has denied these allegations.
