This is certainly a serendipitous turn of events.
Years before Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum (D) questioned Broward County’s vote count in the 2018 gubernatorial election, he made a cameo appearance in Unprecedented – The 2000 Presidential Election. Cheddar correspondent and Mediaite alum J.D. Durkin unearthed a clip of Gillum speaking about the problems Florida encountered during the presidential election between George W. Bush and Al Gore.
Indeed, things have come full circle.
The recount vote in Florida continues to be a major news item for the political press, especially now that Gillum has withdrawn his previous concession to rival Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).
Watch above.
