WATCH: Easter Bunny Absolutely Lays the Wood on Teddy Roosevelt During Violent Mascot Race
In the present day cutthroat climate of Washington D.C., even the mascots are not immune from getting rough with one another.
During the “Presidents Race” at Sunday’s Washington Nationals game, during which a number of mascot Presidents square off in a foot race, some other mascots invaded the field and actually got violent.
The highlight was the Easter Bunny laying the wood to mascot Teddy Roosevelt in what was an absolutely devastating tackle.
Oakland Raiders coach Jack Del Rio thought the hit was too violent even by football standards:
Where’s the flag??…?And the ?needs to be fined for that unnecessary shot to the head or neck area! https://t.co/5eckx8FUHQ
