WATCH LIVE: Ongoing Coverage of Manhunt for Second NY Prison Escapee

New York state police successfully shot and killed New York prison escapee Richard Matt, but there’s still an ongoing manhunt for the second man, David Sweat.

Police have currently surrounded a wooded area where Sweat is believed to be hiding out in. Canine units and helicopters are searching the area.
