WATCH: Rob Gronkowski Rushes Ring at Wrestlemania, Does Wrestling to Wrestler
Whether he’s seen partying on a cruise, or “jamming” with Paul McCartney, few football players look as though they have as much fun away from the field as New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
On Sunday night at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Gronk appeared to be in his glory as he rushed the ring and jumped into the action at Wrestlemania.
The gimmick had Gronk seated in the front row to cheer on his friend — wrestler Mojo Rawley. But another wrestler, Jinder Mahal, got into a menacing stare down with Gronk, and eventually threw a drink at the strapping Patriots star.
And so Gronk hopped over the barrier, removed his shirt, and entered the ring. And while Mahal was distracted battling Rawley, the Patriots star clotheslined him to the cheers of the crowd.
