WATCH: This Referee Accidentally Gets Knocked Out Cold By Wayward Punch in Martial Arts Fight

Here’s a ref who got just a little too close to the action.

In a video posted yesterday on Instagram (via Shogun Gym Lebanon and Bleacher Report), a referee was knocked out cold by a wayward punch during the Lebanese Muay Thai Arab Championship.

The blow didn’t appear to land cleanly on the referee’s face, but instead catch his shoulder. It did plenty of damage, that’s for sure.

Although the video cuts out several times, it seems at least several seconds passed before he was helped to his feet.
