‘Bring It On’: Kash Patel Bashes Journalists Right After Being Sworn in as FBI Director

Newly appointed FBI Director Kash Patel started calling out journalists for “defamatory” stories right after being sworn in to lead the agency.

On Thursday, the GOP-led Senate officially voted to confirm Patel as director following weeks of intense hearings. Patel was seen as one of President Donald Trump’s most controversial nominees due to past statements where he vowed to bring the agency to “heel” and called for shutting down the FBI’s DC headquarters.

After being sworn in by Attorney General Pam Bondi, Patel called out members of the media covering his speech by demanding they “bring it on” but “leave the men and women the FBI out of it.”

Look, I know the media is in here, and if you have a target that targets right here, it’s not the men and women at the FBI. You’ve written everything you possibly can about me. That’s fake, malicious, slanderous, and defamatory. Keep it coming. Bring it on. But leave the men and women the FBI, out of it. They deserve better. And for those of you who think that there’s going to be a two-tier system of justice — not with Attorney General Bondi. There’s a singular system of justice for all Americans, and there will be accountability.
