Tulsi Gabbard Says A ‘Vote For Kamala Harris Is A Vote For Dick Cheney’ Following Endorsement: ‘It Sickened Me’
Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) claimed that voting for Kamala Harris this November is the same as voting for Dick Cheney following his endorsement.
Earlier this week, Liz Cheney announced she along with her father will be casting their vote for Harris rather than Donald Trump in the upcoming election. Cheney, before losing her GOP primary in 2022, was a vocal critic of Trump following the Capitol riot on January 6th 2021.
On Friday, Gabbard joined former Fox News host Tucker Carlson for an event with fans in Colorado Springs where the topic of Cheney’s endorsement was mentioned. Following the endorsement, Harris told the media she was “honored” to be supported by the Cheney Family.
Gabbard said Harris’ reaction to the endorsement “sickened” her.
“I have a very simple message for my Democrat friends, my independent friends, and those who may not be sure about who they’re voting for in this election,” Gabbard told the audience. “Dick Cheney has just made the choice very clear. A vote for Kamala Harris is a vote for Dick Cheney, the architect of everything that has gone wrong in the Middle East for the last few decades.”
She added, “Her response to the Dick Cheney announcement today was that she was honored to have his endorsement, and we got military veterans in the house, got a lot of you who probably served in the Middle East like I did, and so it sickened me, Tucker, to read those words today from Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney, and Kamala Harris because we have people who we care very much about who were killed in those wars because of Dick Cheney.”
