Marjorie Taylor Greene Snaps Back at Trump After He Disses Her in Oval Office Presser: ‘I Haven’t Lost My Way’

That did not take long.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), less than an hour after President Donald Trump vented to reporters she has been “catering” to Democrats, told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins the president was stone cold wrong.

“I haven’t lost my way. I’m 100% America first and only!” Greene told Collins, according to an X post from the cable host.

Her reaction followed Collins asking Trump for his reaction to Greene, after the Louisiana Republican has criticized the president for grocery prices and for “nonstop” foreign policy meetings.

“I don’t know what happened to Marjorie,” Trump said at the White House. “She’s a nice woman, but I don’t know what happened.  She’s lost her way, I think.”

He added a moment later:

“So when somebody like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who’s now catering to the other side—I don’t know what, you know, I guess she’s got some kind of an act going—but I’m surprised at her. But when somebody like Marjorie goes over and starts making statements like that, it shows she doesn’t know.”

Greene has been increasingly critical of her own party recently — and there are plenty of recent examples to point to.

MTG, on the Nov. 1 episode of Bill Maher’s Real Time, bashed Republicans for not having a “plan” to replace Obamacare, which she said made her “angry.”

She has also called male Republican congress members “weak,” slammed GOP lawmakers for having “no plan” to end the government shutdown, and criticized the GOP for, in her view, dragging its feet on releasing files on sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein.

And last week, during an appearance on CNN, Greene said, “I also blame those who are advising him in the White House. You know, keeping him on nonstop tours around the world and nonstop meetings with foreign countries’ leaders is not America First. It’s just not.”

The back-and-forth with Trump comes as Greene is reportedly plotting a 2028 run for president.
