‘Pathetic Bullsh*t’: Dem Senator Takes the Gloves Off While Accusing Mike Johnson of Being a ‘Pedo Protector’

Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) called Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) a “pedo protector” in a scathing takedown over the delayed swearing-in of the state’s newest representative.
Johnson has faced growing scrutiny over an apparent reluctance to swear in Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva. Grivalja won a special election for the seat in September.
At the time of writing, she had not been officially sworn in as a member of the House of Representatives. Johnson has offered multiple reasons for the delay, including the House being out of session due to the ongoing government shutdown.
Critics believe the delay has to do with deceased sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Grivalja has been vocal in her support of the release of the Epstein files, and she could be the final vote needed to trigger an official House vote on their release. Johnson has repeatedly denied that theory.
In a video posted on Gallego’s social media, the senator watched a clip of Johnson responding to reporters’ questions about Grivalja. Gallego took exception to Johnson mispronouncing his name and insisting the backlash from Democrats was nothing more than a “publicity stunt.”
In response, Gallego said:
OK, first of all, you pedo protector, Speaker Johnson, it’s “Gah-yay-go” — not “Gah-yay-gos” or “Gah-lay-gos” — it’s “Gah-yay-go.”
Number two, for this last year you have sworn in multiple Republicans in non — while you guys were in session — and you finally landed on this excuse because your first excuse was, “Well, you know, I gotta wait for the certification to happen.” Then your excuse was, “Well, you know, I did it for other people because their family was in town.” Well, Grijalva brought her family to town [and] you still didn’t do it. Then, your last excuse is that she wants, she deserves pomp and circumstance; and that still didn’t work because Grijalva wants to get sworn in and take care of her people.
Fact is, you’re a pedophile protector. You’re protecting the pedophiles on the Epstein list. There’s just no denying that. And your idea that, somehow, us trying to make sure that 24 million Americans do not have their insurance rate premiums doubled is stopping you from doing your job is just pathetic bullshit. Again, “Gah-yay-go,” learn it.
