Pro-Palestinian Protesters Occupy Fox News Lobby, Accuse Network of Covering Up ‘Genocide’

Pro-Palestinian protesters occupied the lobby of Fox News’s headquarters Friday morning in New York City, accusing the television network of covering up “genocide” in their reporting on the Israel-Hamas war.

Protesters occupied the lobby of News Corp. headquarters in New York City with dozens of members with banners and signs chanting, “Fox News, Fox News, you can’t hide. Your lies cover up genocide!” Accusations of Israel committing “genocide” in Gaza have been widely heard among far-left protesters and the topic of much controversy as some, like the ADL, denounce the use of the term.

Outkick founder Clay Travis shared a video on X, formerly known as Twitter, with an inside look of the lobby. Other footage posted to social media shows protesters were eventually removed from the building by law enforcement and appeared to be detained. NBC News noted that “as many as 16 people were taken into custody, according to the New York City Police Department.”

Fox News did not immediately respond to a request for comment ahead of publication. Watch the interaction below:

As one female protester was taken out of the building by NYPD officers, she could be heard chanting with the other protesters, “Israel is a terrorist state! Occupation no more!”

Israel launched its ground invasion into the Gaza region after Hamas militants conducted a surprise attack on the country, killing civilians and taking hostages. Supporters of Palestinians have demanded the U.S. and other global leaders call on Israel to negotiate a ceasefire for humanitarian purposes.
