President Donald Trump reacted furiously to Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) interview on CNBC Monday morning, firing off a series of posts on his Truth Social account calling her “Pocahontas.”

Warren ventured into hostile territory for the vocal Wall Street critic on Monday, a live interview from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange by Squawk on the Street’s David Faber. The senator and CNBC host sparred over some of the economic proposals from New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, who describes himself as a democratic socialist.

Faber questioned Mamdani’s support for raising taxes and Warren fired back by asking if he was “worried that billionaires are going to go hungry.”

Trump seemed to have been watching the interview as it aired, writing three posts in rapid succession at 10:29 am ET, 10:32 am ET, and 10:43 am ET. In each one, Trump attacked Warren as “Pocahontas,” a term he has used pejoratively for years to mock her over past claims of Native American heritage.

Wrote Trump:

In just 6 months, I cut costs, especially Energy and Taxes, Tremendously. Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren, on CNBC, said costs have gone up. She is just angry that I blew up her terrible Presidential Campaign. Call her out!!!

Elizabeth Warren is a LOSER! She lies about everything, including the fact that she is an Indian. She’s NOT. She’s no Pocahontas!!!

Ask Pocahontas the real questions, CNBC!!!

Warren smacked back with her own post knocking Trump’s “broken promise to lower costs on ‘Day One'” of his presidency.

She wrote:

What’s going on with Trump’s economy?

– Inflation is up.
– People are worried about finding a job.
– Groceries are getting more expensive.

No matter how hard he tries, Trump can’t distract from his broken promise to lower costs on “Day One.”

Earlier Monday, Trump wrote, deleted, and reposted a long rant praising Sydney Sweeney’s ad campaign for American Eagle and bashing Jaguar, Bud Light, and Taylor Swift for being “woke.”
