Trump Spox Rips the Guilty Pleas from Jenna Ellis, Sidney Powell and Ken Chesebro: ‘There’s Literally Nothing to Plead Guilty to’

Former President Donald Trump does not understand why three of his former attorneys have accepted guilty pleas in the Georgia election interference case.
Trump spokesperson Liz Harrington appeared on The Absolute Truth, — a show on Mike Lindell’s streaming service — where she outlined how the GOP frontrunner is confused why Jenna Ellis, Sidney Powell, and Kenneth Cheseboro would plead guilty to the charges handed down by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
The attorneys, along with Trump and 15 other defendants, face racketeering charges for allegedly attempting to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia. If convicted, Trump could face years behind bars.
“I think he’s a little confused because if you’re a lawyer, you know there’s no crimes here,” said Harrington. “According to the law, there’s literally nothing to plead guilty to because there’s nothing that was — no laws that were broken.”
She added, “Speaking out against a fraudulent election and telling people to watch hearings and petition their elected officials about fraud that was happening on camera. I mean, it’s just surprising.”

Trump has attempted to distance himself from his former attorneys following their guilty pleas. The former president claimed Powell was never his legal counsel despite prior tweets and statements indicating she was his attorney at the time.
The three attorneys will not face prison time because they have agreed to testify truthfully for prosecution against the other defendants in the case.
